Vigilance

God commands us to stand vigil, in a dark and long night, in patient expectance for HIs return.
What does this vigilance look like?

How does one wait for the morning not knowing how long the night will last?

Do we spend our lives however we wish? Or do we do whatever it takes, whatever He asks of us, to make sure our lamp never goes out? We may dwell in a dark world now, but it is His light within us that guides us through with peace and hope knowing that one day the morning will come, the darkness will cease...He will return.

So let us prepare our hearts for that day. Spend time with Him, get to know Him and abide in the peace and confidence that His presence brings.

"Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming."
